Welcoming the New Year together with us!

After Christmas feel warmly invited to spend the last days of the old year with us as we prepare for a wonderful welcoming of the New 2020. As the Berliners return to the city from their Christmas away, the sense of anticipation grows in the city and at our house too! Every night from Friday 27 there’ll be music in our lobby, alongside lovely wines and snacks.

On the 31st - In the Wine Bar - Sparkles & Companions

We’ll be warming things up from the mid afternoon with music starting at 3pm.

From 4pm there’ll be oysters, bar snacks and a special extra menu full of grower Champagne and sparkling wines!

In the Restaurant - Farmers & Family

This year we’re celebrating what we receive from mother earth, with a farm focused menu and wine from our partners and friends. We’re fortunate to work with some wonderful farmers and we’ll be putting their produce at the centre of the plate.

Amongst others, we’ll be featuring Bobalis and their buffalo burrata; our beef farmers from the Uckermark, Gut Kerkow; Roberto, who grows some incredible produce in Rüdnitz, north of Berlin and even a few things harvested from our own farm in Brandenburg!

There’ll be bread from our in-house bakery, snacks, three savoury courses and dessert. Here's the menu:

Snacks to start
crisp kale, vinegar, fish roe
buckwheat, buffalo ricotta, orange
kohlrabi, raw beef, mustard

pressed root vegetables, lovage, horseradish milk - served with house sourdough and fermented butter

cured mullet, shellfish, dill, roasted oyster

aged boar, gooseberries, pretzel, spruce

smoked chocolate, sea buckthorn, caramelised buffalo milk

Emily will select wines to match each course from some of the brilliant independent growers and winemakers we have connected with over the years.

After dinner we head over to the bar to dance & toast into 2020

After New Years Eve

The restaurant will be open for breakfast until 12:30 on January 1 and dinner from 6:30pm. On Thursday 2 we reopen for regular lunch service and dinner continues until Saturday 4 January. The dinner service will then be taking a winter break, resuming Tuesday 14 January.
